Our Animals

Picture
We place companion animals in loving, responsible, committed homes, following a comprehensive adoption process which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a pet into their homes and lives. Animals in our care are spayed or neutered and receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment.

We do not charge a standard adoption fee. The fee is set on a case-by-case basis. Many of the animals we help have veterinary costs which are much higher than the adoption fee. For these animals, we rely on donations and small fundraisers to offset those costs.

You can view our available animals on our Petfinder page.

If you are interested in a specific animal, fee free to contact us to ask any questions in advance of meeting the animal. If you decide to adopt a particular animal, please complete the adoption application on this page.

Adoption Application

Brindlee Mountain Animal Rescue, Inc. is an all-volunteer, non-profit animal welfare organization dedicated to the rescue and placement of stray, neglected, and abused animals. We are funded by donations and small fundraisers. Our adoption fees are designed to cover the basic vetting needs of animals, although some animals require more veterinary care than others. All of our pets are cared for by foster homes and receive complete medical care, which includes worming, vaccinations, spaying/neutering and microchipping prior to adoption.

This adoption application is designed to help us - and  you - determine if a specific animal is the right one for you and your household. All  adopting parties are required to complete this form prior to adoption. Brindlee Mountain Animal Rescue, Inc. reserves the right to deny any adoption based on answers to this application and/or interviews prior to adoptions.
