Our Transports

We currently transport dogs to the northeast twice a month. We do this in order to place animals with rescue groups in that region who have a demand for the types of dogs we have in our region. This activity is not part of the non-profit functions of Brindlee Mountain Animal Rescue, Inc. and is a separate business operation with separate accounting.

No funds donated to Brindlee Mountain Animal Rescue, Inc. are used for these transports and the costs are covered by the receiving organizations. It is our intention to balance local placement of dogs with transports of dogs. We are solely focused on saving the lives of the dogs entrusted to our care regardless of where the new home may be. All dogs receive a veterinary check (and veterinary certification) prior to transport, are transported in a climate controlled vehicle and are given frequent opportunities to exercise and relieve themselves during the transport operation.

If you have any questions about our transport operations, please contact us.
